PANAJI: Revolutionary Goans Supremo, Manoj Parab urged locals to follow in steps of Fr Bismarque Dias who was fighting several cases against the land mafia in order to end the pure evil that exists in Goa today. He also highlighted the ignorant attitude put up by local MLA, Pandurang Madkaikar towards the people of Cumbharjua over the last twenty years
“We should follow our leader, Father Bismarque and fight to save our mother land. Our local MLA, Pandurang Madkaikar is a land dealer and has been grabbing every pieces of unattended land from the constituency over the last two decades. The people of his constituency have been receiving a step-motherly treatment for the last two decades. There has been a total failure on the part of the government in providing jobs and businesses to the locals,” said Manoj at a Cumbharjua constituency level meeting held at St Estevam ground recently.
The RG Cumbharjua candidate, Chhagan Naik highlighted that the local BJP MLA has been a member of almost all the major political parties.
Pandurang Madkaikar Is a party-hopper and has failed to uphold the peoples mandate. This election the voters from Cumbharjua will teach him a befitting lesson.

There is no proper waste management policies in regards to garbage disposal in our constituency. Garbage strewn by the roadside especially near Funskool area at the Corlim Industrial Estate. The illegal construction of a bungalow in a heritage precinct at Old Goa shows the inaction of the local MLA, ZP candidate and panchayat,” said Chhagan.
“The BJP government is accustomed to making fake promises to the people of Goa. Rs. 2 lacs was promised to EWS families that lost an earning member to Covid. Locals from Karmali have reported that they never received the money,” he added.
