PANAJI: The Goa Forward Party quit the National Democratic Alliance on Tuesday by stating that it is time to shake off the “divisiveness and despair” that the BJP-led government has created in Goa.

A letter is submitted to NDA national chairperson Amit Shah, by Vijai Sardesai and said the NDA had “miserably failed” to protect Goa’s interest

The decision to quit the NDA was taken by the party’s state executive committee, The resolution to leave the NDA was unanimously accepted by all the committee members.
